Cloud Computing Fairy

Hello Everyone! This is a link to a little video that my friend Jenna made for work. She had to find a creative way to describe a program that they use in her office called Cloud Computing. Whoever comes up with the best simple explanation wins a prize. So, she made a video starring my dear sweet Emma. I can't figure out how to make it so that you can click the link and go straight there, so you will have to cut and paste it in your bar.

Fun at home on rainy days

This is just a small collection of cute pics and videos from our days home. Enjoy!

We bake a lot. Micah likes to, um . . . . help.

Any guesses on how long it took to clean this messy face?

If you look closely, you can still see left over dough on her face, even after the scrubbing. There is also flour on the carpet. I'm not quite sure how that happened.

Here is a cute video of Micah giggling.

And another video of the kids dancing. Enjoy!

Papa!

We love it when Papa comes to visit. He drives a semi-truck, so his visits are usually brief and spontaneous. I'm pretty sure that he's happiest when he's with his family. We kind of like him. ;) These are some pics from his last 2 visits.

Tailgating before the husky game.

Out at breakfast at our favorite Auburn restaurant.

I get to drink coffee with this guy every morning.

Micah sword fighting (ok, silverware fighting) with Daddy.

Look at the eyes on that girl. Wow . . .

We can't wait to see you again Papa!

Fair Time!

We go to the Puyallup fair every year. Here are some pics of the kids on rides. They loved them!

What silly faces in this next picture!

The next one cracks me up. Emma screamed and layed down like this the second that she started moving. You can click on it to make it bigger and see their expressions.

After the rides, we went to the petting zoo. All of the other animals were gone, which was disappointing. They had fun with these guys though.

After the petting zoo, we all washed up and headed to the eating area for some elephant ears. The kids and I took pictures while we waited for Daddy to come back with the goods. Look at that pretty face!

Do you think he knows he's cute?

On the way home, we were trying really hard to keep Micah awake so that he could take a normal nap at home. This made him quite angry, as you can see below.

This wasn't working, as it soon escalated into screaming. So, we decided to give him some coffee and let him be. :) That worked.

Fire Station Tour

I recently scheduled a tour of a local fire station for the kids. I figure that I should be taking them on a bunch of field trips if I am homeschooling, right? The best part is, that this one was free.

Here is the truck that they let the kids climb all over.

My dear friend, Alanna came along with her boys, which meant that between the two of us, we had kids at the ages of 1,2,3 and 4. We like to stagger them. JK. ;)

Here is Micah trying to drive the truck away.

Lovely Sissy smiling for the camera.

Know what I want to be when I grow up?

The fire fighter that was showing us around (seen above) was so nice to the kids! He was very young and friendly, and let them do pretty much whatever they wanted. Here, he is trying on his fire clothes for them. He was about to show them how he breathes when he is in a burning building, but their siren went off and they had to rush out on a call.

So everyone sat on the front lawn outside the station and waited for the truck to pull out. They played every siren they had for us, and waved to the kids as they drove away. All in all, it was a very exciting trip!

Bow down to Washington!

The whole fam has gone to two husky games so far this season; the game that finally ended our losing streak (against LSU) and the USC game, which was UNBELIEVABLE. We had fun tailgating with friends beforehand. Here are some pics.

Crazy Micah loves his Dawgs, and his chocolate cupcakes . . . He kept sneaking them.

This is our friend Jolene, who along with her hubby Christian, has season tickets. She also cooks a lot of the food. Thanks JoJo!

Christian (aka Ching Ching to my kids)

Miss Emma, always ready to strike a pose.

Future Quarterback . . . . so says Daddy.

Mommy and Micah enjoying the game. The kids have loved every minute of it. We thought the noise and long games might be problematic, but not for these purebreds!

Emma and Daddy right after we beat USC!!!!! They were so excited!

They weren't the only ones. With a score like this . . . .

. . . everyone rushed the field!

Still basking in the glow of victory.

This pic pretty much sums up the day . . . .

Oh, and for anyone who's interested, here is a video of fans rushing the field after we beat the Trojans. Go Dawgs!

Fishing and Hiking

Joseph recently had part of a day off, and so we decided to head to the mountains! We went fishing at Lavender lake, and got skunked, of course. It's amazing how much fun it can be to fish unsuccessfully . .

What a stud in his shades.

And in his hat.

Can you tell she's excited?

Loving Daddy. (How could you not? I mean, look at him!)

Yes, he fell in the water. Yes, he was ok. And yes, I took pictures before changing him into dry clothes. Evil, right?

Emma and I went hiking after fishing, while Micah slept in the car (Daddy was with him, naturally)

We picked mountain huckleberries and . . .

. . .made fern tiaras. She was the water princess.

Afterward, we played around a bit on these bears, until . . .

....one attacked.

After bandaging Joseph up, he felt better, and we drove home to our loving beds.
